Questions

Who can see my page?
Anyone with the link. It only shows in the archive if you switch on Show in the archive, and you can switch it off any time. Pages in the archive can also appear in search results. Switching it off removes the page from the archive within a minute and from search over time.
When does it open?
At midnight on the day, in the timezone the sender picked. Pages with a homepage spot open at midnight New York time. Until then the link shows a sealed card, and the photo isn't sent to anyone's phone early. A page dated today opens at once. Pages for yourself, a brand or a pet aren't scratched open, but they also go public at that midnight.
Can I change the date?
Yes, until it opens. Sign in, find it in Your days, and pick any day from today up to one year ahead. A page with a homepage spot keeps its date: delete it for a refund and mark a new one.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, if the page hasn't opened yet. Delete it from Your days and we refund you. A page dated today opens at once, so it can't be refunded. If we can't approve a homepage spot in time, you keep your page and get the homepage part ($44) back automatically. If we reject a homepage spot for breaking the rules, you get a full refund and the page is removed.
How are homepage spots approved?
Homepage dates start tomorrow, and you can book or change one until 6pm New York time the day before. A person looks at every homepage photo within 24 hours, and always before your day starts in New York. If we can't approve it in time, you keep your page and get the homepage part back automatically. A new photo or message after approval is checked again. We say no to anything hateful, explicit, misleading, or not yours to share, and then you get a full refund and the page is removed.
How long do pages last?
For as long as marked.day exists. If that ever changes, we'll email you first and give you a way to download your pages.
Can I swap my add-on after paying?
Yes, until it opens. Going from a voice note to a video costs the difference, and going from a video to a voice note refunds the $4 difference. Removing an add-on before the page opens refunds what you paid for it.
Why is marking one back $4?
When someone marks a day for you, you can mark one back for them for $4 instead of $5. It works once per gift page you received, within 30 days of it opening, for the page itself (add-ons and homepage spots stay full price).
Can I pay from the EU or the UK?
Prices include any VAT that applies. We can't take payments from every country yet, and checkout says so if yours isn't open. Any page someone sends you opens anywhere.
